On June 15, 2012 – Ben & I found out what the sex of our baby is and instead of doing a cake or balloons since we are wedding cinematographers so we wanted to do something a little different so we made a stop motion film.
A little behind the scenes information: When I got my first ultrasound, the first thing I did was call my mom, who lives in Texas, and the first thing she said was I want to see it. I looked down at the photo and asked my mom – why, it just looks like a Jelly Bean. So ever since, we have been calling the baby – Jelly Bean.
Once we found out if it was a girl or a boy – after we decided we wanted to do a stop motion – I said we have to use Jelly Beans! So that is how this film was born.
